With how high the cap jumped up, I think everyone is going shopping. I can't wait for the frenzy.

What is the sim schedule going to be for the first week of free agency?

I believe the last sim of re-sign is today. So I will advance to July 1st tonight and then starting tomorrow ill give a 3day period for July 1st depending on how much interest there is in the players in FA I might make it 4 days but ill see! Good to see some gms taking some good interest in this league, it is nice to see this league flourish

Looks like giroux and datsyuk could be available depending on if the gm of Detroit will go on NHL and resign some of his players I gave him 2 warnings about Datsyuk. But for giroux it looks like Philly doesn't have the cap to resign

I saw that right after I offered a contract to pavelski which he eventually signed. Both are likely out of my price range now but I'll probably send contract offers to them anyways. Is that why the philly owner quit?

I was more interested in how you are going to run the rest of the offseason. Will there be a couple days after that for a second free agent period or are we going to sim straight to the start of the season like last year?

Going to wait until after free agency starts. But Eric Staal is available. If you lose out on the big names on the market, come to me for your #1 Centre!

No there will be another chance after free agency period to sign more people. So the offseason should go on for another week or so depending on how you guys feel. Remember that this is my first time being commissioner of a league so I want to know everyone's feed back!

I say give everyone 2 days (sunday and monday?) to match any offer sheets or make minor free agent signings and then go straight to the start of the next season. Then make that first schedule period of the season last a while so that people can make any trades or do any necessary roster clean up.

IS it possible to post a schedule here how the rest of the offseason will work?

Pretty much just want to know I'll have time to sign people tonight and tomorrow. The EA servers were down this morning...

Ill confirm it when I get home. What is bartschi's overall and potential? He seems like the main part of the deal for the pens
