Exactly. IDK if Dumba makes it, but he's been awesome in other international tournaments.

Very surprised at the Corrado cut. Especially if its for the addition of Dumba, who almost didnt get an invite to camp and even had his GM saying he played bad on the intermission today. If they keep Murphy and Sproul over him at least its 2 high octane offensive guys, but Dumba isnt producing much offense and had a horrible camp

That leaves two defensemen and two forward cuts remaining.

McNeil? Most-surprising cut at this point (pedigree wise...)

People need to chill.

They had to invite a certain number of guys out, These guys have been scouting all year. If they based who was cut or kept solely off these scrimmages, we wouldn't have a team ready to go for the whole tournament. Even Gomez has a good game once a year; we are looking for the most complete and consistent.

If Spott had Murphy pencilled in all along, they could be choosing a left side D in the seventh spot just in case Oulette has issues?

Sorry if this has been asked before but why doesn't Canada just name the team instead of cutting players bit by bit? That would be a positive move. The way they do it seems cruel.

Yeah its not like he scored 1/3 of his teams goals or anything?

Sorry, I'll go, I'm just upset....makes the camp seem like a waste of time.

I think they should put him to TOP6.

Hamilton 6'5
Rielly 6'0
Ouellet 6'1
Harrington 6'1
Reinhart 6'4
Sproul 6'4

Dumba 6'0
Corrado 6'0
Murphy 5'11
If people don't want Murphy's defense in the top 6, I don't know why they'd want Sproul's.

These Canucks fans are getting me all rustled. Corrado didn't have a great camp. Sure he scored 2 goals but he played average-above average. For a guy like him to make it over... Lets say Murphy, he has to have a GREAT camp because Murphy is just proven to be a much better player

This is not politics. It's a good decision.

Then you better hope dumba is cut, because if he makes it, then hockey canada is a complete joke.

Harrington and Ouellet are both lefties, so I'm not sure handedness would tie into their choice.

Surprised at that. Thought was fairly strong but I would say that he didn't wow me. Thought he would make it in there on reputation.

Bodes well for Camara and/or Wilson.

Also not shocked Binnginton over Brossoit, I don't think there was a large difference. Not the decision I'd make but not surprised.
Good call. Only you could have seen this coming,

One goalie, three defensemen, and four forwards needed to be cut.

So far there's been one goalie, two defensemen, and two forwards, which now leaves one defensemen and two forwards.

This is happening live - the media is just making note of the kids coming out of the coaches room. I think the staff is talking to each individually.

They basically let the media in during this. It's always been like this. I agree that they should do a press release at the very least and let the cuts talk to the media after.
