I'm going to admit it... Right here.... Right now...

This Canuck-Deprived hockey fan will be back... Oh yes, I will be back. And I'm fairly certain I'm not alone.

That being said, I still think those fans that return can show their.... ummmm, we'll call it "displeasure" with this mess.

When the teams take to the ice, wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone in the arena just sat there...silent. No cheering, no jeering, no clapping. Just...... Silence.

Is it stupid? Yeah, it's stupid...but so is this whole mess. I know it won't hurt either party financially.... But I just don't see enough people boycotting the games for a significant amount of games to actually really hurt the league.

Pretty sure fans won't be silent, but it won't be cheers you'll hear. I've always disliked booing. But I hope they get booed the entire first game.

Stay classy fans.
It would be ill-advised to the league to cancel half the season. Stay classy NHL and NHLPA.

They've given the fans no consideration during this whole ordeal, if there was ever a time to be justified in throwing things onto the ice it would be when hockey returns. I would have no problem with it.

They don't deserve classy fans.

Okay, well when said fan is escorted out of the building after paying to be there, "I sure showed them" doesn't make much sense does it?

Really depends what it is and how many people do it as far as getting kicked out goes.

Plus we should all expect when the lockout is over both sides are going to be crawling back to us begging our forgiveness. And most of us gulible, hockey loving sacks will leap into the NHLs arms and hold on tight (me included).

How I wish we could have a fan union.
I really dont think the players or owners would care if we turn our jerseys inside out

They'll be laughing all the way tot he bank. The only way to really hit them is in their wallet. They dont really care if we do something symbolic like that as long as they get their money

What is allowed to be thrown onto the ice surface during an NHL game that won't result in removal from the premises?

Besides a teddy-bear during TB toss night or a hat after a hatrick.

Maybe.

Here's a guy who paid to go to a game, threw an octopus, got kicked out, and was hit with a $500 fine.
