Tape for commemorating achievements on pucks

I feel this is a silly question, but I'm going to ask anyways. I have for few pucks used to mark achievements by my daughter: one for her first goal ever, and one for her first hat trick. I was going to use white stick tape to tape around the pucks, but I've found that the ink bleeds along the fibers when I write on the tape.

So my question is: What type of tape do you use to tape around a puck so you can write on it, to commemorate achievements?

Thanks

i'm going to assume you meant the ink bleeds and not the ice. i've never had any problems using a fine point sharpie on white tape.

White stick tape and a sharpie is what I used. Kinda messy, but whatever.

White hockey tape, but use a regular ball-point pen instead of a Sharpie.

Never done it, but I'd do white hockey tape and a fine tip Sharpie. Screw the bleed...

Kind of a neat idea though. Even if it wasn't the actual game puck, I'd like to commemorate my kid's achievements like that.

I got the game puck from my first goal but didn't have a sharpee. I used a white out pen and wrote on the face of the puck. It's in a box somewhere now, but it used to display very nicely in a puck case with the writing on the face.
