I was coming to post this. You could also subsitute Harvey and Howe for Bourque and Jagr and the team wouldn't be much worse.

well, all the obvious ones have been taken - but I will put mine out, one that I would think could cause havoc for anyone of the bigger name lines -

Ovie-Lindros-Forsberg(as he was apt to play a wing in his later years)
Chara-Pronger (if we're playing "trap" rules, you ain't gettin' by)
Hasek (no questions asked)

Ya, some of the obvious lines have more star power, and some more talent, too... but this has a ton of talent, and is just gonna murder you in every zone.

and if I can't have Hasek, as he is a little too accepted of a 'great' to suit my line - I will take the little, old battler - Tim Thomas.

With everybody in their position?

Ted Lindsay/Dickie Moore - Wayne Gretzky - Gordie Howe
Bobby Orr -- Doug Harvey
Patrick Roy

With Centers on wing?

Mario Lemieux - Wayne Gretzky - Gordie Howe
Bobby Orr -- Doug Harvey
Patrick Roy

Size and strength has to be taken in context of the era the player played. There are better "power lines" you could put together.

Unless there was a era when forechecking wasn't allowed then that is the ultimate line with the one caveat being Pat Burns is the only coach that could truly maximize the talent.

Not sure about Hasek.... Maybe Plante? Otherwise right on. Four of the five are elite scorers, all five great passers, one is an elite tough guy, another two close (Orr Harvey), and Howe could play more of a defensive role if needed. Hard to leave Richard off the list, but who do you stick him in for?
