He needs to get locked in a court room. Forever. Not even the media like him after this lockout.

Can't comment, to busy finding respectable reporters to have twitter fights with.

I'm really curious what we're going to wake up to tomorrow morning.

Allan Walsh ‏@walsha
I have a lot to say about the NHL's action today, not going to disrespect the horrific events of the day by NHL's ill timed press release.

exactly, it`s insane......they know that alot of teams are struggling,.....the same teams that pay them, yet completely ignore the financial reality of where the league is.....dummies.

PURE hypothetical obviously. But if All players were Free Agents would the NHLPA even have a leg to stand on? They would no exist right? the NHL would get what ever it wanted?

...yet the NHLPA made the wise move of hiring him to beat Bettman. How's that working out for you players?

The best part about this is that DiPietro is on the executive board. So he may get to vote on disclaimer of interest, which may nullify his contract.

What ever they wanted in what sense? There would be no CBA, no PA. All Players free agent, no draft or player status. New York could end up having 200million in salary every year if they felt like it while Phoenix would have 20. Contracts would be up to individual clubs and players, any sort of control put in by the NHL would be illegal.

I wonder if OV just changed his mind on Fehr for risking his 100M contract.

You don't think Ovechkin would get more than 100M in an open market? lol

That wouldn't happen. The owners could write up their own CBA without the blessing of anyone else. There would be a hard salary cap with very little variance and max 5 year deals. All those things benefit the owners.
