I don't watch a lot of Barca, but Cesc looks completely different and less effective nowadays. Is it him? Barca'a playstyle? Or the fact that he isn't the go-to guy?

Milan are not as tactically disciplined a team as Chelsea.

As a casual fan, I'd say that's it. I don't know much though.

That catch must be the only action Abbiati faced in the 2nd half..

Game over. Great result for Milan. Well played.

Who is this Muntari guy? Because he had a beast of a game for Milan.

Seriously what was Barca's defenders doing on both goals? They just stood there with no urgency. Also Milan's cross and through-ball game reeked havoc on the defense.

Serie A is really underrated, I'm cheering for Juve and Milan to get to the final.

Juve is a really strong team, they are one super star striker away from becoming a top team in the world. Best keeper in the world, one of the best defenses (and top defensive record amongst all europeanteams) and strong midfield (Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal is amazing trident).

Milan still has a ways to go, I never would have imagined such a great result today. We were stronger last year and the best we could do was a 2-2 tie with Barca.

So proud of the boys right now

I don't like the Chelsea comparisons.
Chelsea was outclassed and needed a miracle to go through.

Anyone who's seen tonight's game can tell you Barca didn't dominate at all. They had one scoring opportunity (Iniesta's shot from 20 meters) and it went wide.
Milan had 3-4 chances and they made the most of it. Though it has to be said again, the first goal shouldn't have counted.

Barca looked uninspired, they didn't seem to know how to break up the bus at all.
As for Milan's frenchies, I thought Constant played well, and he had Messi in his zone quite often. He brought a lot of danger on the left, but his teammates never tried to pass to him.
Mexes was good and his passing ability is still a huge advantage. Zapata was clearly the lesser CB.
Niang was dangerous on nearly every ball he touched. He is a big reason for the second goal.

I've found this true of Barca last year VS Chelsea as well.

They don't seem to have any plan B in their tactics if it's not working, they just keep plugging trying the same thing.

Yes, but that doesn't mean automatically that they will tie or win the game

because their playing system isn't exactly the most exciting? Nothing against them, it's obviously succesful, but when people tell me how beautiful of a game Barca play, I shake my head. Lots of lateral passing and if it is not working, they struggle to create anything at all because they know only one way. Again, that's not to blame them of course, but it is often pretty boring watching them because everyone playing them is parking the bus and that doesn't make for many exciting games. I'd rather have someone else play the CL final.

I hope Milan @ Barca ends the same way as Chelsea @ Barca. Those two games were gosh-darn memorable.

You can't please everyone but I think their brand football is the best. Everyone has different taste and more people appreciate/like it then people who hate it.

At the camp nou I still think barca can win the tie. They just have to get fired up for the game, I mean where the **** was the urgency today! You'd think this was a ****ing friendly game. Iniesta had the only shot right? I say start the classic 433 with MVP upfront for next game.
