That guy who took Nuge. His team's terrible.

Good job getting through the draft so quick everyone!

PS You guys come to a decision with regards to if I'm stuck with Naumenkov or if I can swap him out?

I think it was no.

With that goalie pick, you are now my enemy.

Alright, so now that the draft is done, I moved the selections to post #7 (the next one I made), and the first post has been updated to include the standings (currently just the order people signed up) and each team's roster

Damn, I thought he played okay. I think a few guys are really gonna be screwed in the long run because of injuries and cuts. Having said that, I don't want everyone to be able to swap out their players. I just think it would get pretty messy in the long run.

I'm a big fan of McNeill so I'm excited to see him. His offense is underrated.

I'm also a big fan of his. It sucks to see people that have just been drafted in the last few years (especially so high) being labelled a bust. And that's already happening with him. Would like to see him have a big tournament. It would shut some people up and help Canada...win, win!

Suddenly that injury replacement draft sounds like a good idea

Haha I only proposed it because it seemed like a lot of other pools did something along those lines. But nobody seemed interested and now I have a player cut Depth dman though so I guess I can live with it.

Lots of speculation that Riley Barber may be one of the last cuts for the USA.

Yup. Not looking like that gamble is going to work out.

I was either going to get Galchenyuk's RWer or a player who got cut.

They should have had Samuelsson in that spot.

Barber has huge numbers this year. I would have never imagined him getting cut.

I feel for you bro...you are just not having the best of luck right now! I don't like that my depth dman got cut and thats it for me so far haha. The tournament is so unpredictable though anything can happen

Could be worse, you could have Malcom Subban and have him play backup the entire tournament. Not his fault he let in two 5v3 goals. Sure he didn't look stellar but he has a couple nice saves. Certainly wasnt the reason we lost.

I agree those definitely weren't his fault. I know his game away from the camp has been great and he was a 1st round pick. However, his play at camp and in exhibition games has been very suspect. Goaltending has been a problem for us lately so hopefully it doesn't happen again. Maybe he will pick it up when it matters most though, hoping to see that.

I think it goes both ways. Canada should have named Subban as their starter already and shown some faith in him to be that number one guy. If anything I think you have more unnecessary pressure when you think you don't have that confidence from your staff.

If he cant handle that little bit of pressure, then he folds for sure when the chips are down against the Russians or the Americans.
