I love Dallas as a coach. You can tell the players really listen and respect him. Listen to D'Amigo, for instance. I'm sure as a young kid, he'd like to get the green light on offense, but he's willing to buy-in to the system, and to his role. I hope Eakins is our coach in the future, he has really brought this Marlies team together.

If I could clone Eakins, I wouldn't mind him at the NHL level. But I don't want to lose his influence at the AHL level, where coaching has a much bigger impact on player development.
