Aucoin has gradually becoming more of a gritty player in his tenure as a Marlie thus far.

Nice one-timer there by Colborne. Kids got a good shot, he should really use it more.

Ashton has been awesome lately.

If kadri was about to be traded, burke would praise him more to seal the deal.

If you're someone who judges how a players been playing based on looking at a stats sheet, you would probably think Ashton isn't having that good of a year but it's amazing how he is the hardest working player literally every game. So much stronger on his feet this year and finishes every check. Looks like the makings of a potentially great third liner. You can see the talent there too. His speed has also increased as of late. I think it's just a maturing process and he finally has that drive we all want to see with someone that has his body frame.

Last year, i didn't think ashton would be a physical player but this year he's fit that role perfectly. He's always working hard, plays his heart out every game, and his grit and skill show everytime he's on the ice. We needed someone to crash the net after leo left and he's really stepped it up.

He also doesn't fall as mich as he used to, he's much stronger on his skates and thats something he needs if he's going to continue to be physical.

Kadri never had the puck there, did he? How did the refs not catch that?

From the one angle it looked like a blindside elbow to the head, but hopefully it wasn't. :l

EDIT: it was in the chest, Stortini still thrown out of the game though. Definitely a blindside hit, and I'm not sure Kadri even touched the puck, but I don't know about a 5-minute major

Atleast kadri seems okay, hopefully he doesn't have any injury. 5 minute powerplay for the marlies. Would be awesome if kadri scored
