I whink you will be able to watch all these games on Viaplay.se. 200 swedish crowns for one month. But you can only watch in sweden so a swedish proxy should work
Viasat's feeds have been streamed lately via HDTVPlayer (I've watched United's games via that)so it's likely these games will be there as well.

Yeah the info from this site Viasat Schedule JVC when i posted was totally wrong, there wasn't even a schedule present and they changed which games that they was going to show. So my previous post can be deleted.

They broadcast every game TSN carries. I guess there's no "world feed" for those other games.

No, you won't. This year it's pay-per-view, and even that's only available to those living in Canada (although I guess you could use a proxy).

MTV3 MAX Sport is the premier sports channel in Finland so I expect a lot of people to follow the tournament now that we have a solid team and games aren't played in the middle of the night.
You'd think now especially after the full merger with Canal+ channels they could have better options for the sportscasters than <swearwords> Saukkonen. I hope Taivainen does as many matches as possible. Boggles my mind.

If the illegal stream rule also concerns this subforum, then HDTVPlayer shouldn't be talked here.

NHL Network aka nhl.com shows USA matches +

Quote:
An additional 12 games from the IIHF World Junior Championship also will be aired live on the NHL Network-U.S. and will be re-aired later that same day, including six preliminary-round games and the entire medal round.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6...ite-NHLNetwork
US-only streaming of course, but easily bypassable with a proxy.

http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/ > PRESS ROOM

or direct link: http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/con...=616&id=144596

I don't remember what they promised to show last year, but they still ended up showing a lot of other games too (non-USA games). Sometimes they weren't even listed like in the above link, but links to the previous games usually worked. There was sort of like a continuous stream going on (showing the usual NHL Network stuff between the games and during intermissions).

1.) is a NHL Network membership necessary?
2.) how does this work "easily bypassable with a proxy"?

1. no
2. Just like proxies are normally used. If the pre-tournament game against Finland is broadcasted in about 1½ hours, I'll see if another much easier trick (so called header spoofing) works.

Probably not. Can you actually buy it from Sweden anyway?

If not for you, then for Finns who are planning to get the package: doesn't make much sense to buy the 10-game turnament package (17 eur) as the Sport package for 1 month costs 19.95 eur.

In Finnish:

Sid, i hope this lockout has helped your brain fully recover from its injury.
Its great to have a former WJHC gold medalist contributing to this board!
