Revised and approved deal:

A. Lindback
B. Lee
2014 2nd*

for

to
E. Etem
J. Hiller
2013 1st (4th)*

Condition: the 2014 2nd becomes Player To Be Named Later in the event the 2013 1st is 1st overall. The PTBNL must be agreed on by both teams and Chuck / myself.

EDIT: This deal temporarily puts TB over the cap (pending retirements), and thus might not go through, however it is binding on both teams to re-do it in July if the game doesn't process it properly now.

With improvement from Hainsey (83 -> 86) and Enstrom (81 -> 84), as well as recently acquiring Regehr (84), are now flush with defensive depth. Looking to move a dman not named Regehr or Buff for a C. Jets trade block updated (on page 4).

Also the trade I made with Edmonton did not go through for some reason.

I don't think it should count now as the draft is over and there was a draft pick involved for the draft that passed. Also, Olesz was in the trade to give me extra cap space. I wont be able to trade him until after the first UFA period so it does me no good anymore.

It is basically now, Hemsky for Frolik, which obviously i get killed. The 2013 2nd and the contract going back is what sealed the deal.

Boots is correct.

You must execute the deal on July 1.

Lund will simply add the prospect drafted with the pick.

EDIT: Actually, I do think it is reasonable for you to ask for the 2014 2nd instead if you prefer. You didn't get to choose based on your draft priority, and that's not fair. But I think that's the only change that's necessary. You can still get Olesz off the books before UFA if we delay UFA until July 2 as I suggest below.

trading block updated

With Kimmo Timonen's retirement, Flyers are looking for an NHL-ready 2nd pairing D. (80-83 or so, RH-TWD and LH-OFD are particularly welcome).

Listening to offers on Pronger and Bryzgalov.

Haven't decided on much yet for but I'm currently listening to offers on

PLY - C - Roy ( 86 , Cap hit 6.4 )

PWF - LW - Morrow ( 82 , Currently a UFA however if you want him I can sign him nice way not to get into a bidding war perhaps )

DFD - D - Fistric ( 80 , Same thing as Morrow )

HYB - G - Bachman ( 83 , 3.5*yellow , Haven't decided if I wanna use Lehtonen or Bachman but for now I'll put him on here )

Is this trade as insane as it looks?

Says the guy who tried to trade Zach Parise and Justin Falk for J. Skinner and Justin Faulk.

It ended up being R. Pulock, who takes a while develop. Lindback did his normal jump to 84, and is a significant upgrade on Hiller. Etem is a good playable piece, but Lee is decent.

The reason we made it conditional was to account for the possibility of Klimchuk being selected. Without that, it is fine. A bit of an overpayment, perhaps, but nothing too crazy.

Just wait for Kubina and Kuba to hit free agency. Floridas having cap issues!

I know that in Bluth Boston, Anaheim and the Rangers all lost big names during the first free agency period.

We could see someone like Getzlaf, Marchand, Horton, MDZ or McDonagh become UFAs

Who did rangers lose?

I picked up my team pretty much in tact in year 3.

Rangers issue here was trading for Stastny. Otherwise, he'd be fine.

I was under the impression having Redden on the cap made it hard to sign folks, and Rangers in this league didn't trade Redden nor do we have a 'dont sign list' so...
