Lincecum just threw a no-hitter. Congrats to Big Time Timmy Jim.

Happy that I got to witness a no hitter live. Not so happy that it had to be Giants doing it against the Padres.

Gonna be hard for Cano to top his performance at last year's Derby.

Well he did beat last year. Still finished last though...

Does "viable replacement for Kovalchuk" fit? If so, I'd love him in our top six.

Anyway, as Yankee fan, it sucks that Cano got hit, but I'm not mad at Harvey.

Leyland did it just in case they lost the lead and eliminated the need for the bottom of the 9th.

He could've allowed 6 runs and still won MVP.

For the three minutes I was awake during that game last night a thought occurred..

Why don't they just use the best closers for the ASG? Since all a closer is good for is 3 outs, just string those guys along. They're used to coming in to throw insanely hard and accurate and **** batters up, so why rely on a starter who may be slow out the gate but find his groove in the 2nd or 3rd and be impossible to hit for the next 3, 4 or 5, if he's only going to pitch 1 or 2?

Because would you rather tune in to watch Craig Kimbrel or Matt Harvey?

It is meant to be a show. Mo being used in the 8th, and everyone staying off the field is proof of that. Managers are expected to play the majority of their bench and most of their pen, yet are told they still need to play to win. It is a farce.

Big reason why tieing home field in the World Series to this is extremely stupid.
