Barca players have given up, no urgency and no closing down

They never had any urgency, the players look defeated.

At least Alba scored the best goal

Disaapointing but rather lose this cup than the league or CL

Yeah it's not like Real or other clubs try to influence/argue with the referee ever

Yes, because no team ever complain about a call right?

CL will probably come in the next 2 weeks.

For Saturdays game please play the classic 433 with MVP at the top. Drop cesc to the bench.

Its clear a lot of teams (Real, Milan, Celitic this season) now know how to play Barcelona, certainly when they play this slow.

I also don't get why they didn't start with Villa & Tello who helped win the game last saturday!

puyol didn't look good on the 2nd goal, same with pique giving away the penalty. Have they looked subpar all season? Or rather, are Barcelona looking to upgrade? If so, transfer market or have they guys coming through the pipeline?

I thought the ref didn't have a bad game, he could have given pedro 2 penalties? but I thought he went down to easily (not a dive) there was contact, but he should have stayed up and then it would have been since defenders would have just ran into the back of him

They have been better (at least Pique) than last season, still not good enough.

Yes, Barça has been linked to upgrade and get someone like hummels.
On the pipeline there are some guys, but not good enough to be in the starting lineup.

I thought he had a bad to very bad game, in any case madrid deserved to go through.

Varane spectacular again. Nearly one meter leap on the goal.

Alba was embarassing in his dives. Didn't remember him diving that much in previous games. Must have been the frustration.
Nothing is going to well in Barca right now, but they'll turn it around.

People saying they've been "figured out" make me laugh.
Right now, Barca have no imagination, they are walking and not running, which is a sign of a tired team.

But at some point they'll turn it around. And then teams like Milan or Real will get killed.
They should hurry though, because at this rate, they'll only have the league to win.

They've just been watching Arsenal play too much

There's is something more to this than them just being tired though Evilo. There's only so long you can go with the same system before teams start to click in on your tendencies.

Ronaldo is just spectacular.

I disagree, I think there is still a place for the free-flowing, total football approaches that Barca and Arsenal typically play. The creativity and space opens when players are in motion and the link-up plays are relentless. The last two matches Barca have played, the players have been stationary and waiting for the game to open up for them, opposed to being proactive and creating for themselves.

One of the best games I've seen Barca play all year was earlier this season when they beat Bilbao 5-1. It was free flowing football at its best and Barca was playing at an unmatched pace. They need to return to that style if they're to be successful again.

Barca is not tired

Stop making excuses

Milan and Madrid are not some team ranked 20th in La Liga

Both teams have done a great job a neutralizing Barca's passing game

But of course, when Barca doesnt win, something must be wrong with them

Oh and I love Varane ! Please send us more quality French players, Evilo
