Lowry listed at 210 pounds already and that was taken one month ago at camp; nice

Scheif at 192.

As far as Jets property goes, the only mild surprise on that list is Cody Sol. They typically don't invite guys that already have a pro season under their belt, but I guess they want a closer look.

Very young roster, in previous years some teams have had players in their mid to late 20's..

Will be interesting to see who the other teams are bringing and how our guys hold up against them. Looks like a pretty good mix of skill and grit to me.

I am curious about Theoret, Verrier and Bell.

I thought Bell would be on the Jets radar in the late rounds of the draft. Need to fill out the Zach quota on the back end with Yuen gone.

Theoret played well for the Colts and has nice grinder size.

Verrier scored a **** ton of points this year. It came out of nowhere though. He also racked up a LOT of PIMs via stick work.

I liked Theoret - played admirable well with Schiefele when Camara was out. Definitely a decent grinder.

Can't wait for this - should be interesting to see how they stack up. Interesting mix of skill and grinders up front, some good D, and a couple of very good G prospects.

Well the next few years should lead to an interesting rivalry!

If we keep peluso, he can take 3 of them.

Sheesh. Did they invite Ogie Ogilthorpe as well?

That Bilcke guy sounds like a gongshow, 37 fights in 2011-12.

I don't imagine the Jets will be intimated by the goon squad. With Sol, Sutter, Lowry, Trouba, Kosmo... the Jets have their own players with some bite.

I know very little about Axel Blomqvist, but I am very excited to see how he does.

Yea Brassard can handle the rough going as well but fighting is pretty overrated in the new NHL. great that the Oilers are working on depth toughness but it won't really impact them where they could use some grit which is in their top 6 on the parent club. Sure you can bring a goon squad to Penticton but what is the point?

Who would you like to see on Scheifele's wings? Petan on the left side for me, not sure about RW. Kosmachuk? Lowry can centre the 2nd line.

I think Hellebuyck is the future of Jets goaltending, even over Comrie. In 4 or 5 years were going to have sick goaltending

Thats optimistic to say the least.

Anyone who says they can predict goalie development is lying.
And anyone that can should be burnt at the stake.

Theoret - Scheifele - Lodge
Lowry - Petan - Kosmachuk
Olsen - Sutter - Brassard

Not too sure about some of the others, I think the 4th is pretty interchangable. Then on defense you have

Morrissey - Trouba
Kostalek - Kickhton
Bell - Sol

I'm here in peace just because my friend said you guys were labelling our squad "a bunch of thugs", but that's not quite the case here. Even if you had said so, I don't think I'd disagree. We've got so much skill up front on our NHL roster, we need big guys who're going to put the fear of god into other teams.

I was hoping to see a little more of Austin Czarnik. He looked like a guy with huge upside potential at Development Camp. Stood out above everyone else in my opinion. But, he's another very small guy.
