Didn't catch much of the game. How did Lowry and Saponari look?

From what I saw and heard, Lowry did not play much and he looked nervous. Was very careful about not being out of position, not taking any chances, etc. Will settle in, hoping McCambridge will show more trust going forward.

Saponari did not play much either, although more than Lowry from what I saw. Drove the net a couple times, did not see him much.

From the few shifts I saw of Lowry yeah he did look a bit nervous. He had a few really good hits and shielded/cycled the puck effectively a few times.

Yeah didn't play the last half of the 3rd really. Nothing special but definitely should settle in.

On a side note, since when is Gregoire such a hitter? Had at least 4 big hits in that 3rd alone.

Down 3-1 after two.

Pasquale has not been good.

Lowry is slow.

Saponari isn't impressive in any way. Mouillerat is much better in every way.

Cormier and Mouillerat both faught in the second.

That's not what I wanted to read

Otherwise, how was his play yet?

Lowry is going to look slow that's for sure. No 6'5" guy is ever going to look fast. If you had Wheeler skate around on his own you'd never realize he's the fastest guy on the team.

That being said speed has been a quoted issue with him. I just think it's a tad overblown.

As for the rest of his game, one positive is he is not so easy to knock off the puck. Not afraid to use the body.

His speed is comparable to Ramsey.
