Dubnyk or Holtby

Who has the better 2nd half of the season? My league counts wins, saves, goals against, and shut outs.

I think Holtby. It's pretty obvious the oilers need another year, Washington is starting to come around.

Holtby. Dubnyk is continuing to improve but at this point, Edmonton is too raw and give up too many scoring opportunities. For fantasy, you don't want a guy who has to stand on his head just to have a chance at a win.

Also, he got hurt in yesterday's game. Not sure how serious it is but he was down and out for quite a while.

agree with others. holtby it is. dubnyk is a really good goalie in a less than ideal situation. holtby seems to be showing signs of the goalie from last years playoffs.

Definitely Holtby. It was pretty obvious that Washington wasn't going to finish much farther behind the 8th seed. I predict they'll finish 9th. This always happens in every sport. A team who was to be at least decent or extremely well doesn't start out great and fails to meet those expectations. Then everyone panics but that team finishes out strong. Just look at the Lakers in the NBA. Caps have too much talent not to finish out strong. So to answer your question: Holtby, definitely.

Oh, bravo to me. I have been riding Dubnyk in my dynasty league every week this season. I see he gets hurt so I sit him for the week, and he rewards my attentiveness by posting a 30 save shutout.

THANKS DUBNYK
