Great screen by Rielly on the 2nd goal..... Canada's passing especially their first pass has been pretty brutal from what I saw of the back 1/2 of the 1st.

I'm not debating the work ethic. Maybe it's the **** stream but it looked to me that McCabe just sent it on net both times. Subban's being screened by three or more players each time. There's no way he sees daylight.

I notice Gibson ditched his Kitchener mask that had a maple leaf on one side. Gotta be a story there somewhere.

Edit : Nvm ..... I must be blind.

Schiefele is annoying me thus far. Can't make or take a pass to save his life this game though that goes for a few members of team Canada.

The Americans are looking very quick out there and how much better they are breaking out and forechecking is astounding. Canada needs to wake up in this intermission if they want to have a chance.

American came out blazing, hitting and blazing around.

We got no legs at all. Hope the intermission slow the US momentum and we start to gain our legs.

Maybe the first goal but second was a good shot IMO, but aided by Canadian screens.

What this team needs is more RNH, only canadian that looks good.

If there's a good thing about that period I'd say it's that they can't be any worse? I hope.....

It's a shame our 3rd or 4th line aren't playing like USA's 3rd line of Pietila-Bardreau-Hartman.

That line has been dynamite so far this game.

The NHL Network is completely and totally Pro-USA. At least TSN tries to be impartial. There's friggin USA jerseys behind these panelists.

I'll call a crazy 3-1 period for Canada. With a 1-0 3rd to complete the comeback. Positive vibes...

Anyone else very underwhelmed with McNeill this tournament? Canada is starting to resemble the Barons from early in the year, a one line team with a less than stellar defense. These kids need to dig deep and show their national pride the rest of the game and out work the Americans if they want to claw back into this game.

Did RNH play more than two shifts? I never seen him out there.

I think I saw him three times.

A couple of nice defensive plays and then once chasing an errant Scheifele pass in the O zone.

He sure looks like he can't skate. He's always stumbling out there I've noticed.

Ya he was out there, but it seems like everyone got equal time, I think we should see him alot more now if we want to have a chance at a comeback

Canada has no idea how to defend these plays off the cycle.

Wow. Ugly change. Also a two on 1 on Murphy is basically a breakaway.
