London Racers have qualified for P/offs!!!!!

winning 4 games in a row and their direct competitors Basingstoke Bison losing means the Racers will be in postseason play for the first time in the 2nd year of existance, with some 7 games to spare!

This is a long way from our 3 victories from 56 games last year!

Congrats. Nice to see that all the hard work you've put into building the team is paying off. Good luck in the playoffs.

How's Cairns doing btw?

Thanks! our friend the Riz played a big role to assist us.

to answer you query about Cairns: I love Cairnsy to bits.
He is a great guy to have in the locker room. He understands he doesn't have the technique to shine, he keeps it simple and he hits like a freight train. Everybody
looks up to him, literaly!

He picked up his first goal, and an ugly one it was in a 8=0 rout. his was the 8th goal and it went in on some other guys ass.

He is not here to score, but he defensive play is awesome, and our D is the best in the League! and in the play offs that matters.

Last gane he got suspended for squirting water on some unruly fans......cant believe it.

He now rooms with Scott Nichol and with the 2nd turn of Scooter for the Racers, we have turned thing up 2 notches. Nichol not known for his offensive prowess has 6 goals in 3 games which is huge for us. We were winnign games 2-1, we couldn't win a game if we had to score more than 2!

I believe we have an excellent chance to make it to the final 4 tourney in early april
which is live televised on SKY...and then anything can happen..

Does LR have a part in the organization? It sounds like he does, but I'm just checking.

Yea, as far as I know, he's the General Manager of the London Racers.

I'm planning a trip to London next winter, so hopefully I'll get to see a game.

I am not the GM. I am a fan and one of the guys footing the bill to keep hockey in London. Hopefully we will break even one of these days!

Do you have alot of contacts within the organization? It sounds like you do, being able to set someone up to meet the players and stuff.

Oh, and I forgot: Congrats!

Sounds great. I'll let you know as soon as I find out, which may take a few months.

Could you let me know when the dates for the sky games are when you find out, id love to watch some hockey. By the way the Guildford Flames just signed McLennan, not a huge NHL star or anything but interesting that such a small club could even consider signing an NHL calibre player.

Hey I was just thinking that......

In order for me to see my fave team to compete in playoffs I had to build one!

Whew...my hats off to you. I wanted to see my favourite team in the playoffs and I built a hockey sim. You just took the concept a bit further

I'll be coming to the remaining Tuesday games and we'll bring some Sega people with us as well
