It's when, not if Ziggler turns babyface - why is a face turn being discussed?

Quote:
- There has been a lot of internal talk about Dolph Ziggler's future lately.

As noted, officials have discussed breaking Big E Langston away from Ziggler and AJ Lee but it sounds like he might stay with AJ. They are discussing this not because of a possible Langston face turn but because of a Ziggler babyface turn.

Vince McMahon has been changing his mind back and forth on Ziggler as a babyface but it's more when and not if. A lot of people in the company feel that Ziggler will take off huge as a babyface when the call is made. The fact that Ziggler is already popular in the New York market is said to be influencing Vince's decision.

I've been calling for a Ziggler face turn since last summer. Him turning face would take him to the next level IMO and if they pull it off right around WrestleMania season or even AT WrestleMania, it would be HUGE.

I'd wait until after Mania to turn him face, at the very very least. The problem so far is that I think the Superkick was given to Dolph to put him over the top, and it keeps getting buried by John Cena. Ziggler needs to get that move established as an absolute match ender, so when he hits it, there's no doubt the match is finished. It's why I'm dying when Cena kicks out of everything Ziggler is throwing at him.

I think he needs a heel run with the WHC belt, as well. He can't cash it in as a face, because when he wins that WWE Title with a clean win, that could make his career.

I can deal with Ziggler as a face but if that's the case I want AJ Lee gone. He doesn't need arm-candy or a spokesperson. They should have her concentrate on the diva's division now as shallow as it is.

I don't even want him to turn, smug cocky heel is just right for him.

He could always have a PPV match planned ahead of time with the Money in the Bank to win clean. Doesn't have to just run in after a match is over.

That's true, but I think a face build would need a bit more time than until the next MITB. I think giving him his Wrestlemania spotlight as a heel would be a wise decision, and nothing would be better than him cashing in at the biggest show of the year. It's probably a bit too late this year, to have him switch courses while possessing the MITB briefcase. But by Royal Rumble 2014? I could easily see him winning as a face.

I'd love to see him cash in at Wrestlemania. Heel or face, I don't even care. The crowd will explode either way. It would add a really great moment for the show, and should some other big matches disappoint I feel that Dolph cashing in would help make up for that.

Pretty sure nobody has cashed in on the WM stage. Putting Dolph in that position would immediately push his presence and stature through the roof.

In all the years of MITB, you'd think someone would have cashed in at Mania by now.
