I'm excited to see that Drouin has been moved to the top line in place of Huberdeau. If there's no NHL season, I pray our lotto ball comes up early as I would kill to draft him.

Pumped for this game. Stayed up for it. By the end of this game, I'll have already watched four different hockey games today.

Hahaha... it's beautiful, isn't it.

I took some melatonin and went to bed at 9:30pm then woke up for the US game. I'm loving every second of this. I have the Sweden/Finland game open while streaming the Canada/Russia game.

I almost prefer 1:30AM instead; at least I don't have to wake up for it.

They are using the Canucks drop pass to gain entry on the PP. Looks like the Nuge is a thief!

Yup. Looks like he has a mean side too so some of the anti russian people cant complain.

But in all seriousness, the guy has got skills.

I still can't believe how long its been since there was a Russian playing regularly in our lineup. I'm thinking it's Artem Chubarov?

I can't really judge him from this game as he didn't play much.

Yeah...I'm basing this on his prior games. Was dynamite against the US. Loves taking it to the net, but has some nice hands and can dangle as well.

He is going to go Top-10 right? We will need to get lucky if there is a lottery draft.

He's going Top 4, and rising.

Top 5 for sure, making a case to go higher. Canucks would need a miracle to get him, would love to have him as a Canuck.

I'll pile on with the Drouin comments. The guy is something special - incredible skills with the puck. Shrewd move bumping him to the top line in place of Huberdeau.
