Yep. I don't like Subban's technical work either. He looks so unconventional (and not in the Timmy Thomas sort of way) in net.

Was nice to see that Kitchener fan get owned in the main board defending Murphy.

Ugh... That's why I keep the 'bias' about D localized in this thread. Sure, there's definitely sour grapes on our part, but seeing how bad our D has been is like rubbing salt in the wound.

This team is playing as if it were the CHL. Can't win on international ice playing like that. The Germans are grinding and cycling the Canadians to death.

This team is all one line. Shut that down and you win. Hopefully the other 3 lines will figure things out because they're almost being outplayed by the Germans. Can't play like this against better teams.

Also, none of these defensive pairings have been solid in their own end so far. Hopefully they'll show better in games that matter when facing other top players.

It's pretty obvious this version of Team Canada isn't built to shutdown their opposition. I could see the Russia game being very high scoring.
