Good luck to AJ in Texas... He's a Claude Lemieux type player, meaning you hate his guts when playing against him but love him if he's on your team.
Tyler Flowers is finally going to get his shot as a every day player and that's not a bad thing cause he's been pretty patient and he deserves a shot to prove our club that he's the real deal.
at the fact that every thread is "hijacked" by Yankee fans complaining about their own team
Not a huge fan of AJ, but it's impossible to complain about a 1 year deal that fills a need. Soto by himself was weak, AJ and Soto combined I would say makes a decent-to-strong catching tandem.
No point. I hate him as much as any SF fan (and clearly other teams' fans) but once BWC has a players fathead on his wall you are not allowed to speak negatively about them.
He was there to win games for his team and not make friends with opponents ,, AJ is type of guy who would have ran a catcher in ASG ala Pete Rose
Truly a dying breed in game
So you're conceding the fact that Pierzynski is indeed an *******? Not the subjective views of him being a winner and a valuable player, but the main premise of our argument to begin with?
No point. I hate him as much as any SF fan (and clearly other teams' fans) but once BWC has a players fathead on his wall you are not allowed to speak negatively about them.
There's a difference between liking a player based on results and liking a player for the person they are. I love the fact Jim Harbaugh will stop at nothing to get the most out of every single player on his team and step on the throats of anyone in his way. I love that about him and I hate that about the guy in my avatar. I thought I had a point with this....Oh, that's right, what i'm saying is I'd love to have a guy like AJ on my team but I would understand why people all over hate him and how quickly i'd hate him once he wasn't on my favorite team anymore.
