Spott and his coaching staff need to be fired for this nonsense. MacKinnon deserves the ice time, but I guess he doesn't give a damn. Can't say I'm not surprised after how he assembled this team. Idiot.

Agreed, he was non-existant as well other than some PK stuff.

Spott should go with pairs:

RNH-Shief
Strome-Ritchie
Mac-Drouin

And just fill in the rest.
The most glaring thing is his mishandling of MacKinnon.

For me, I was very impressed with RNH, his compete levels were excellent, luck to have him this year---proven NHL'er and by far our best player. Also, liked Scheliefe(excuse spelling) and loved hustle of Danault.

The goaltending is still up for grabs more than most believe IMO. How many mentioned or even know now that the third goal on Subban was deflected? Apparently Tugnutt picked up on it right away. Binnington won this round but Subban was the guy coming in and he was the victim of two 5 on 3 snipes and a deflection that he still probably should have had. I agree with the idea they each get one of the first two and go from there.

While I agree Jenner's hit is late and might deserve a suspension, Pettersson needs to to be much more awake and aware of where his opponents are on the ice.

You can't admire your passes like that when facing Canada, this isn't the SEL for gods sake.

I told my gf before Forsberg shot that Sweden lost and I was right.

Though, it's exhibition, they still should have used Collberg.

as opposed to what? the majority of other coaches who would not have picked two 17 year olds from the same team?

luckily mackinnon and drouin are there, though.
