No its not. One mistake and people jump out at him. Rielly turned the puck over 4 or 5 times, was horrible on the powerplay yet he gets one or two call outs. Hamilton passes into the void a half dozen times yet no one mentions it.

Yet Murphy turns it over once when he's got 3 people on him at his line and people freak. It's a joke, it's as if people want him to fail.

It doesn't help when you have Dougie Hamilton shooting the puck everytime he touches it

RNH trying to do too much as well.

Huberdeau down low open as can be - BETTER FLOAT A SOFTY ON

then there's the lack of MacKinnon + Drouin. Synergize for two years - let's not take advantage of that.

seriously, I was always told bad penalties were ones that you take in the offensive zone.

but I guess "eventually wearing them down" is worth being down 1-0

Ah, there just getting those undisciplined, stupid plays outta the way while the games count for nothing...........................I hope

No, he said the boarding penalty could wear the other team down i.e. could be seen as a good penalty in the long run. I disagree.

excuses excuses, it was a bad play and it's lucky it didn't cost us. People got on Wortherspoon when he messed up too. I want Canada to win, don't care which players help us do it.

We were all over Wotherspoon, and I don't know which play you guys are talking about with Rielly, I've barely seen him out there. With Murphy it's just the same thing over and over, he just needs to simplify instead of looking for the game breaker every time.

Then they should be adjusting. Other Canadian teams have in the past. They already know going in that penalties will be called more in any IIHF event, whether it's overseas or not. It's not as if the refereeing is out of the blue and it's the first they've seen of it.

What i'm saying about Spott is that he needs to have the team under his finger at all times. It's important to take control of a team of player U20 who may run around and hit people and make needless mistakes. It's the coach's job to guide them in this situation.

Just bad because you think he's bad or because he's playing bad? Because he's not playing bad beyond one mistake. Rielly and Hamilton have made more than a few mistakes.

If Murphy was having a bad game I'd call it on him, but he's not. Call it neutral or don't post at all.

No, he said being physical like that can wear the other team down, but that was a blatant penalty and they need to be smarter.

I think you have the two mixed up, unless you're talking about semi-pro hockey from the 1960s.
