Hard to tell at the moment. As soon as something good comes out, another quote comes out saying "still debating key issues, tense times!"

But it sounds like, per TG, there is at least another day's worth of negotiations left.
I'm skeptical.

I thought it's just anytime we're on NBCSN, at least during the regular season.

The playoff stretch and that game against the Rags in particular should have put this to rest...

Michael Russo @Russostrib
If training camp begins, Granlund would be slotted as the No. 2 center to start off #mnwild
How can a NHL team "slot" a rookie into a number 2 centre spot before he's even played a NHL game?

Maybe they'll sign him to a big deal and Parise will get all butt hurt again.

It's a pretty goal, yeah, but that doesn't mean anything. He is good, but citing a pretty goal doesn't necessarily confirm that.

Maybe the lockout's lasted too long but I actually felt a
little bad for him seeing that. Just a little
Loved Sather's disgust towards the end of that video though. And Lou getting all giddy in the box, with Stevens and others.

In fairness he's had a good number of AHL games to evaluate him, a lot more than camp would. Plus they have no real threats at C other than Koivu.

i hope the wild play granlund a lot. he's not good enough and i don't want the wild to win one game this year. don't know if i'll ever not hate them until parise retires. only reason he's in my avatar is because i'm lazy. say what you want, parise has never accomplished anything significant in a devils jersey.

Yes how can an NHL team end up slotting a Rookie as the number 2 center.

I figure there is nothing to cite to change your mind so might as show you the greatest goal I ever seen. Funny thing is - he is going to be the #1 center once Kovi goes down.

Well he didn't start there. That's the point.

Maybe I'm alone on this one but I think Lundqvist is a really likable player.

You are right Josefson, who had like 16 games under his belt started there,
