For babies with no way out and intention of jumping off the top rung of their crib.

Just had a co-worker come into the office this morning after getting diagnosed with acute bronchitis and put on anti-biotics only yesterday afternoon. She said she would have stayed home but she has vacation coming up and wanted to save her PTO time.

Hooray for commom courtesy!!!

Straight-jackets for babies! One of those "wish I would've thought of that" ideas.

Does it come with ear plugs? Because I figure it would take less than 30 seconds before you got a unhappy baby!

Clearly none of you guys have kids. Swaddling's been around for a while.

SO pumped for my new headphones to get here. Going to remix the **** out of my old band's album. Got some fantastic ideas. Night and day.

I've been told that FBJ's mom (who was a virgin btw) used hockey tape for swaddling. And the crib was made of ice

I don't have kids, but I was raised in the era when Brandy Shots and Benedryl were used with a lot more regularity...

Oh... Maybe that explains my ADD...

Oh, Benedryl. That seems like the kind of **** my ex would pull. Glad to say I've never done that.

90% of the time though, swaddling + rocking + lullaby music would do the trick. Sometimes though. And the crib transfer is just crucial/difficult.

Yeah! Just when everything seems to be okay, it's silent, peaceful, relaxed.. and you slowly try to move her/him...

This. Also, I'm pretty sure they have an alarm that goes off right after you've finally gotten to sleep.

I don't know that I slept much that first couple months. Just kind of in a daze the whole time.

Sad day...great eye candy at work leaving.
