I know its a bad joke but I'm feeling sophomoric with my humor today
There's another joke in here somewhere....

I believe the proper joke is - Because they come in wet and wild but when they leave, they take your house and everything with them.

Maybe, I was just repeating what a newly emancipated member of the woman hater's club told me at the brass pole palace when he was smashed

Mostly Deutschland. We flew into Frankfurt and later I surprised the wife with four days in Paris to ring in 2013. That went over well.

My young friend this is a club that you should never want to join. Graduate, find your one true love and grow old together instead of heading down that road of heartbreak, tribulations and melancholy. You don't want to only be able to find solace near the bright stage lights or dimly lit champagne rooms, or far away on a mongering trip to some less advanced country.

Did I do good there PK? The good thing is now I'm done having to dispense any wisdom for the rest of 2013.

Epic post. But I'll attempt the above stated.

Psh, I went to school in Potsdam where it doesn't even get above zero for a month. I also lived in Syracuse, which gets more snow than Buffalo. I miss it.

Lowest temp. I ever saw was -37, no wind chill required. Even the wind says, f this, I'm going home.

Yeah right, until it's drizzled, but not quite rained for the 48th straight day.

Been almost 6 months since I've been on the boards, hope everyone is doing well. Not exactly sure why I disappeared from the boards just as I was starting to do my fair share of posting. I blew out my hamstring in July playing soccer and couldn't really move for a couple months and my computer crashed around the same time. Been playing poker full time post-college graduation until I find a job which has been very enjoyable so I haven't really had a lot of time to check out the internet like I did as a college student. I've done a decent amount of travelling but look forward to sticking around the area for the next few months now that our common bond is back in a few weeks.

So after a lot of preaching, the team sports light bulb may have come on for my son. He got "player of the game" honors today after he busted tail all game defensively -- including picking up a shift up one line in the final shift of the game.

No, I'm not. Scorekeeper, setting the boards, that sort of thing... but leaving the behind the bench stuff to others.
