Mike Card. Easy choice.

I suppose Mike Funk would also be a decent candidate.

There was a good 7 or 8 inches in Lancaster. I think we are getting more, that's why I heard on the news.

IIRC there are a couple of car knowledgeable people around here.
I went to go to the bank this morning for work and my key won't turn in the ignition. It's not that my engine won't turn over or something indicating an engine problem... It just completely won't turn.

Any thoughts as to what the issue might be?

While trying to turn the key, try turning the steering wheel in either direction. I've had cars that do that if the wheel is in a bad "spot".

Afino has it right, a lot of time the alignment is slightly off so by turning the steering wheel it'll loosen it up. The Hyundai I had in Korea had a tendency to do that all the time.

Thanks guys. I tried messing with the wheel before I posted and all it did was lock the steering wheel in one spot after a few times.

Even with the wheel locked, turning it a bit one way or another while trying to rotate the key in the ignition should allow it to unlock... What model of car is this?

You could try "jogging" the gear shifter a little if you have a middle console shifter, depress the button while jogging it around. Along with jogging the ignition and wheel you should get that bad boy started.

All else fails, do you have any of your fries? Those may make your car agreeable

Or AAA

I'd take 50+ right now...its down to the mid 40's in San Antonio though its supposed to be back in the upper 50s/low 60s the rest of the week.

Had absolutely no luck with my car. Tried the suggestions from here, along with a few others I found online with no luck. Ended up having to have a tow truck come for it. Thankfully I have road side assistance through my insurance so the tow didn't cost me anything. As of 4:30 when I checked in with where it's being worked on they hadn't figured out what was wrong with it either.

Hopefully the repair bill won't be too much since I just had to have brakes done on my car.

My Fiance and pup are in south carolina with her family for the holidays.

My future father in law decided it against my Fiance's warning to not feed her from the table. Last night my dog had a awful case of diarrhea which ruined one of their more expensive carpets. Whoops.

I've thought about those poor kids and their families every single day since that awful Friday. I wonder when I'll be able to have a tear-free day....
