I doubt it, not with all the players who should be coming out of the CHL and NCAA combined with the Marlies current roster. Same situation as Ruesegger.
Does he do much more than K.Ryan does? Sounds like a smaller version.
Well he could probably be on our fourth line next year if all accounts are correct where as Kenny Ryan needs more time. I don't know much about them to compare their games so I'm not sure.
I could see Burke choosing not to sign him because we might be too close to the 50 contract limit. God I hate that rule. If there's space though management should definitely give him a look.

Any signing will be for next season's 50 contract limit and there are a bunch of potential openings.
personally i'd be against this, he doesn't seem like that player that burke would want to sign, wasn't he the guy who had some issues with his rage or whatever? Eitherway, I rather give a contract to another college free agent tbh.
That he takes up a contract spot from someone better?
Well obviously if someone better is available, then sign them instead. That goes without saying. I meant to say, sign him if he's good. I've personally never heard of him, so i wouldn't know.
I'd sign him, He's 24, And he's already has 6 years of pro hockey under his belt. If he can fill a 4th line spot, And piss off some people in the process he'd be a good addition.
Also due to his age we'd only have to sign him on a 1-year contract.

I'd rather sign him then sign another 6'5" softie like Irwin or Kyle Rogers. He's seen some time on the Finnish national team and I'd love to have a Jarkko Ruutu type player in the system. Can't hurt.
And if we're close to the contract limit that's not a big deal. Make a minor trade like Berry/Giliati for Lashoff or send Devane or Ryan back for an overage year.
some of the finnish posters were saying he could fit into any bottom 6 in the league, plays a "brian burke" way of hockey and can skate, agigitate, and forecheck really well and supposedly has a good shot. plus is 5'11 200lbs. better signing him to a 2 year 900k contract then signing upshall for 2.5m+ imho. sounds like he can really be a player.
I think he's just an agitator mostly. Not much offensively. If he gets sign he's Reading Royals type of property or less, and would have to work his way up the system.
Wouldn't be against giving him a shot. Likely would head back to Europe if he didn't land an NHL gig. I think his contract wouldn't count against the Maple Leafs if that was the case .. (under the 50 contract limit).
