Do you wake up to watch the World Juniors, or stay up?

Do you go to bed and wake up that early in the morning to watch all the games, or do you just stay up all night to watch all the games and sleep all during the day? Any kind of preparations to make nights before World Juniors?

And yes, I do care more about this tournament than my family and friends.

Gonna wake up at 4 a.m. tomorrow morning, family thinks I am insane.
Promised I'd write an extra letter to Santa for everyone.

When the world juniors is in NA the games often start somewhere between 11PM to 4AM. I always stay up, even if it start 4AM. It's not the same to wake up just when the game start and miss all pre game talk/hype or whatever..

But then again I'm on christmas break at that time so nothing to wake up to

Whenever I'm watching a game played in NA I stay up and just sleep afterwards.. easier to get pumped up for the game compared to waking up and being all tired

Think ill be staying up here on the west coast. Definitely wouldn't be able to record the game and watch it later. It's just not the same.

Same, but I've got a lot of experience from watching pretty much every single Flyers game the past four seasons.

I'm off college for the whole tournament so I'll be watching the games live

but most of Finland's games start at 7.30am (UK time)

I love watching it, but not at that ungodly hour. I find zero difference personally (other than feeling good from sleeping)

Games start at 9pm-11pm local time here in South Korea (14 hours ahead) so this Canadian will simply watch them before bedtime!

Canada vs. Russia will be starting at 11pm local time on the evening of the 31st, which means I ring in 2013 during the game. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Twitter often ruins it for me if I record it, so I know what's happening and basically don't pay any attention.

Central time, so I can either stay up or get up at 3am. I think both choices suck. I will probably just stay up.

Well, you do realize that even with "live" coverage there's a time delay, right?

I work overnights 10pm to 6am. Usually too tired from work to stay up to watch at all.
