Who is the most 'over'?

Who is or was the most over wrestler in the history of wrestling? I mean a person who could kill a thousand puppies in the middle of the ring while sodomizing a kindergarten class and the crowd still loves them.

Also a guy so hated they could give a kidney to the pope but the crowd wants them dead.

Well, I don't think anyone would get cheered for killing thousands of puppies while sodomizing a kindergarten class...that's ****ed up...

But who is the most over? Austin or Hogan. Nowadays, Austin. He'd still get a thunderous pop if that glass shattered out of the blue one day.

Austin's cat would get a standing ovation.

It was a metaphor.

I'll say Austin was the most over as well. The sound of the glass breaking was enough to send the crowd into a frenzy. As for the most hated heel in the ring... IMO Roddy Piper.

Austin. I remember the Mania in Houston where he turned heel and was beating Rock to a pulp with a chair with Vince in the ring cheering him on and the fans would not boo him.

Hogan is the answer to both questions.

People payed to cheer and boo him. During his first WWF Champion run, he could do no wrong.

Awards:
Austin as a face.

HBK as a heel. Guy had people chucking batteries at his head, while he was out with DX to cut a promo.

It's gotta be Austin as a face. The two guys that people might say can challenge him (Rock and Hogan) both got booed at times as faces. I don't think that ever happened to Austin. Austin was so over as a face that he is one of the few guys that can't turn heel. People just do not want to boo the guy.

Man... Hogan and Austin have to be in a fight for the #1 spot. That is an interesting question. Austin did it in the most popular era.... so I have to go with him.

I was there that night, the place went ape**** when he came out even though they knew he was on his way for like 5 minutes, the loudest building I've ever been in.
