Makes you shake your head at all the yinzers who wanted to see Dennis Dixon get a chance to compete with Ben for the starting job . Same kind of QB.

I thought the Vikings would lose pretty handily w/ Ponder...w/ Webb they're getting manhandled. Doesn't look like an NFL quarterback.

Last time Steelers drafted a QB with legit NFL potential, Dennis Dixon did not impress. I have more faith in a vet QB, someone like Henne or even Batch, than a mediocre rookie.

Grooming a QB long term like Kolb or Schaub is a little different, but the Steelers have too many holes for this luxury.
Hey, did you have to mention him?

I think we still have a few Bills fans that post here. Either way, it looks like Doug Marrone is going to be the new Bills coach. Not sure if that is good news or bad for their team.

Lol, it's true. I don't understand why Chad Henne creates a lot of interceptions in the NFL. When he played at Michigan, he was a smart-conservative quarterback.

Bruce Arians out with an illness for the Colts.

Still hope the Ravens lose. What could be better than getting hockey back and watching the Ravens get eliminated and Ray Lewis sent into retirement on the same day? It really doesn't get much better than that.

Mort reporting Chip Kelly will not be the next Browns coach. So much for that rumor from earlier in the week.

Throwing it up to Braylon Edwards and Mario Manningham in college is easier to do.

After the flurry of activity after the Hanrahan deal talk about the Pirates has sorta stalled and this one isn't active enough to warrant separate threads, so I'm re-purposing this back into the general Pittsburgher Thread. I'll re-sticky the Pirates thread closer to Spring Training.

Makes sense. Not a lot of hot stove talk going on that impacts the Pirates.

Ray Rice fumbles and gives it to Indy. Play before is an embarassment of a call though. I'm pretty sure the Ravens lead the league in PI drawn, as all they do is cry to the refs every god damn time.

Defense isn't allowed to do anything these days.

Oh so much of this!

Plus the winner goes to Denver. It's going to be a much better story line with Manning playing the Colts in the playoffs.

Let's see... hate the Broncos, hate the Colts (but not as much since Manning left), hate the Ravens, hate the Patriots, hate the Harbaughs. What an awful field to choose from.

Looks like I'm pulling for Seattle or Green Bay.

Why do you hate the Colts? And apparently Peyton Manning?

Also, screw Green Bay

Also, anyone in the NFC except Greenbay for me.
I've always thought that Manning was a colossal ****** (minus that great United Way skit he did) thus I could never cheer for that team. Prior to Manning, I never liked Jim Harbaugh either. Now that those a-holes are gone, I might be able to find some love for them.

Ray Lewis is the worst.

I hope this drive turns into a TD so badly and he feels like a big loser

It's nice to watch an interesting playoff game finally. I still want those six hours wasted from yesterday back.

Getting hockey back and a Ravens loss would make this one of the best random sundays ever.
