I agree it is the holier than thou attitude along with ridiculously meaningless media attention up until this year that turns people off.
Lou Holtz when speaking about ND is irritating as well. When you can understand him.

ND can't go down 21-0 to start the 2nd quarter

People are probably going to talk about the shoddy call on the punt fumble if ND loses, but it won't matter at all if they never manage to stop Alabama.
I'm mostly rooting for ND because I loathe the south and it deserves nothing nice.

From what I've seen Eifert going to get overdrafted too. I think Ertz is a much better tight end.

Alabama's d-line is too much for Notre Dame.

I can't wait to hear that fat ***** Golic's excuses after this game.
If it continues down this path of course.

Ertz is better overall TE.
Eifert is better receiving TE. He can play at receiver slot.

Maybe I've just seen Ertz's good games. It's just my little conclusion from the limited viewing I've had of both.

Not really surprised. Remember, if it wasn't for two blown calls by officials, ND loses to Pitt and they aren't even in the BCS Championship.

He went from a mid round draft to a probably early-mid second round pick in 1.5 quarters

I wonder if they're considering bringing Rees in.
