How come baseball never caught on in Jamaica? They're surrounded by other Caribbean countries that are baseball hotbeds. Just imagine all the base stealers they would've produced...

it's soccer i think in jamaica.

a quick wiki search says that the most popular sports are from britain. that would explain it.

netherlands scrapes two runs out with infield hits, hit and run and bunting.

cuba hits two doubles and a homerun.

Whats a good site to follow this game on? Talking box scores, not a stream.

Working, but I wanna keep an eye on this.

first and second, no outs.

mesa gives away an out by having his 2 hitter bunt (he popped the bunt up) and then the inning ending 4-6-3.

i don't get it. bunting has its place. not when you have nine outs left, two men on and a team capable of putting up runs like the cubans.

Wish I was able to watch this game..

Edit: This is just game 1 of round 2 pool play right? Not an elimination game.

I haven't watched any of this (nor have I seen it in the past) but given that it is time for working out the kinks, spring training, etc, I'm curious, given that it seems there is reasonable interest in the outcome of this thing, is the quality of baseball worthy of the attention?
