7-1 to missing the playoffs. That probably hasn't happened very many times.

All matchups are set. Just Sea going to Washington or Dallas.

Go Skins. Would be more entertaining

Was pretty clear that they took advantage of a soft schedule to start the season. As soon as they played decent/good teams, they folded.

A few close ones

Eagles were 7-2 in 1994 and missed the playoffs going 7-9.

Broncos also starting 6-0 a few years ago and missing @ 8-8.

So what is the final damage of the week 3 MNF debacle?

GB a seed lower than they should be, Seattle a possible(depending on tie-breakers I guess) seed higher then deserved?

I'm so happy with the Vikings winning and getting into the playoffs that I completely forgot they just crushed the Bears playoffs hopes. Makes it even better.

I have to change the channel from Red Zone for the last time until September. Always a sad moment. September is a long time, have to go through, like, the whole year.

They win the tiebreaker vs Minny. GB lost a bye.

It worked out almost as well as it could have in that case.

Lost in all this was Michael Strahan's sack record...I believe is still safe for another year.

Seattle stays the same, they have the head to head tiebreaker with Minnesota. Only the GB/SF flip flop was effected.

You can blame me for the Bears collapse. I was in Chicago the first 8 games of the season, they were 7-1. I went home to California for work for 6 weeks and they went 1-6. I came back last Saturday and they went 2-0 to finish the year. My buddy text me that I am never allowed to leave during football season.

BTW, Peterson and Rodgers put on a show like you rarely see in an NFL game. Definitely two guys you will tell your grandchildren you saw play. So excited for that rematch next week at Lambeau.

Ya pretty close. Either way, chi misses playoffs as GB would have rested starters vs Minny. I guess it cost AP the record.

Forgive me for being stupid, but how does Dallas still have a chance at the division?

Three or More Clubs

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss

if Dallas wins, Was, Dal, NYG would all be 2-2 against each other.

if Dallas wins Washington drops to 4-2 in the division, Cowboys improve to 3-3, and Giants are already 3-3. This eliminates the Giants and the Cowboys. Shouldn't Washington already have the division clinched?

NFC Tiebreakers
4th Seed - Dallas
NFC East Champ (Wins tie break over Washington based on best win percentage in common games. Wins tie break over NY Giants based on best win percentage in division games.)
