I really think its unlikely that a team meets Maloney's price.

Yandle is a Class A act and I look forward to him taking the C when Doan retire.

That's why you don't trade Yandle unless someone makes an offer that you absolutely without a second thought can't say no to.

Exactly!!! The Coyotes finally have a star player that came up through the system and actually wants to be here.

Alright.. My respect just went WAY up for Yandle.. Please don't trade him unless it's just an absolute steal.. I really appreciate KY staying loyal to us like that. As we all know we haven't been so lucky in the past.

We are lucky to have such great leadership and chemistry on our team!

I'd love to add Gomez to this club. I think he'd be a great addition or the right price (under two million).

Unfortunately, Montreal is not trading him or buying him out until after the season. They are simply going to pay him to stay home. Waste.

I'd have to imagine there will someday be a grievance process for that sort of thing. Sitting on a guy, however awful, and not letting him play hockey for a year is pretty ******. Although it's perhaps a one year phenomenon, with the buyouts not available until the summer.

Looks like O'Reilly and the Avs are having trouble coming to a deal. Would love to give that guy an offer sheet. That is if he isn't signed in the K.

Offer-sheeting is for rich teams that can afford to sign guys to fill the holes where drafted players usually go. Meaning not the Coyotes.

With the shortened season and having so many back to back games, i wonder if trying to get an upgrade to labarbra would be something we should be pursuing...

Love Ryan O'Reilly, but as an acquisition, he scares the crap out of me. I'm highly skeptical of offensive production under Joe Sacco. He's basically the complete opposite of Dave Tippett. You might pay a king's ransom for a 21 year old fresh off a 55pt season, expecting a perennial 60+pt forward and end up with a great two way player with a lot of sand that pots 10-15g and 15-20a every year. Great player, but not worth Brandon Gormley and a first round pick, for example. I'd be extremely cautious about paying a fortune is assets and dollars for Ryan O'Reilly. No telling how he will produce for Tippett when the only reference we have is run and gun Joe Sacco.

I'd have joy cried if we traded him for Boucher.

And LA just gets that much tougher to beat. Damn. On the bright side, we have one less reason to keep Bissonnette.

Anyone else think we should sign Petr Sykora? I think he would fit well with us.

Johnson was rumored to be a locker room cancer when he was here. He now seems to have a reputation as a good leader. Who knows which is true? LaBarbera sucks but his teammates love him. I'd be nervous about removing an extremely popular player and replacing him with a guy who was at one time quite unpopular here.

I'd like to add him, for sure. We'd need a good playmaker, though. Maybe move Torres for a 3rd and then move two thirds and Goncharov to Toronto for Tim Connolly.

Doan-Vermette-Boedker
Korpikoski-Hanzal-Vrbata
Sullivan-Connolly-Sykora <--good playmaker and two really, really good triggermen.
Chipchura-Gordon-Moss
Bissonnette

OEL-Michalek
Yandle-Morris
Klesa-Schlemko
Stone

Smith
LolBadatit
