Overeem will probably win that fight so that will leave Bigfoot as a potential opponent for JDS but they train together and might not want to fight each other.

Even though it's another wrestler, I hope they make the JDS/Barnett fight happen.

JDS wants a re-match against Cain right away, which he's unlikely to get, but fighting a guy outside of the top 10 isn't going to get him closer to getting his title back. I'd be surprised if JDS next fight was a "tune-up" fight.

What did Dana say about his performance?

This is one quote from Dana after the fight:

Quote:
What else you saw was how tough and how much heart Junior Dos Santos has. From what I'm hearing, his jaw was broken in the second round, and he fought the rest of the fight. What he did tonight was amazing. I've never seen a guy so tough.
Don't recall him saying anything negative.

I agree, don't see JDS taking an easy fight. He definitely seems like the competitive type that would want to prove that he is the best Heavy in the world. I'd love to see a JDS/Barnett fight.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Hunt-Struve fight doesn't make a ton of sense, and in that JDS is likely two fights away from another title shot, Hunt would be perfect for the first one. I just realized Kongo doesn't have anything lined up. Probably a bit too much of a drop in competition, but that might be a possibility.

I don't have the exact wording, but he said something along the lines of when you lose a fight like that it's going to take a little time for you to get a rematch. Meaning if a guy gets caught or loses a close decision they could get a rematch sooner than a guy who was handled for 25 minutes. I think that's fair.

That's what I was getting at.

Read the first line of post #610.

Thank you.

I think Cain is a killer and he's very, very similar to Fedor in body type, skill set and style, but here's how I rate your 12 guys with some current UFC heavyweights. We can argue any name up or down a couple of slots, but I think this is close ... names in italics are dudes Cain hasn't actually fought yet.

1 Fedor's Nogueira
2 Cain's dos Santos
3 Cain's Overeem
4 Cain's Brock
5 Fedor's Cro Cop
6 Cain's Werdum
7 Fedor's Arlovski
8 Cain's Cormier
9 Cain's Mir
10 Fedor's Randleman
11 Fedor's Rogers
12 Cain's Nelson
13 Fedor's Herring
14 Cain's Bigfoot
15 Fedor's Schilt
16 Cain's Struve
17 Fedor's Sylvia
18 Fedor's Sobral
19 Fedor's Fujita
20 Fedor's Hunt
I'm sorry, but Nog and Cro Cop are one and two.

Absolute wars, some of the best fights in mma history.

I still don't see why it would make sense to list guys Cain may never fight, while omitting guys Fedor would have beaten during his prime, had he have fought them.

If you're going to be hypothetical you should be hypothetical for both guys, no?

Also, include Coleman and Arona. Thank you.
