Watching Chris Paul do that to their team is probably even more frustrating. If it wasn't for Stern, the Lakers would have him on their side.
Paul is just so good. Third best player in the league and easily the best point guard in the league. Even a healthy Derrick Rose isn't on his level.
Also, what an awful awful game for Gasol. First they have him stand at the three point line and then he gets benched in the fourth quarter. Some of it might be his own fault but D'Antoni is to blame for most of it. Gasol seems to be on the decline but D'Antoni is putting him in the worst situations and killing his trade value in the process.
Pau isn't just in decline, he's done. He's a non-factor rebounding the ball, a non-factor in the post and out of it, there's no way any team will trade for him. Even before D'Antoni showed up he had stopped making good plays in the post.
Forget Pau. Why is Antawn Jamison completely useless for the Lakers? He's not washed up. He is a year removed from scoring 17 ppg. Wow, what a waste of talent.

He averaged 17 PPG because he was on a 27th place Cavs team. They had no one else so he was able to shoot as much as he wanted even though his FG% was barely over 40%. He also can't play defense.

IMO, Gasol and Blake to the Bucks for Ilsova, Udoh, Udrih & Harris makes sense for both sides.

Ilyasova has to be one of the biggest disappointments this season in regards to regression. Having said that, he's still young, Bucks just have to hope he starts improving with that contract they gave him.
GS at Clippers tonight, that should be a fun game.
Nets are gaining a bit of momentum. Nice that today the bench could really get some big minutes. To be honest, I don't think they needed to lose Avery, they needed to get out of December. Just a rough patch, they'll win 47+ games, and HOPEFULLY make a playoff series with the Knicks. That would be incredible.
I know its only a 4 game road trip, but Cousins played outstanding basketball. He has kept his mouth shut on the court and is moving the ball and not settling for contested looks. In the past 2 games (last night and tonight) he had 59 pts (22-36 fg) 31 rebs and 7 assists.
That is why you don't overreact and trade a 22 year old for a bunch of lesser players.
I hope the Clips run up the scoreboard after those punkass benchwarming clowns on the Dubs were mocking Blake for that embarrassing 3pt attempt the other night.
Good read, funny just how opposite Kobe and Howard are in regards to their personalities. Either way, things aren't looking good for the Lakers. Sad to see just how much Pau has regressed.

Pffft. They were into the game just as the Clips bench would have been if Curry or Lee missed one that bad. They're rivals now.

Huh? The Clippers were getting their ***** kicked all night in Oakland. There was no reason for them to showboat. Not to mention just about every bench player on the Clippers plays a big role. They literally have no benchwarmers except for Ryan Hollins, who would play key minutes on a lesser team. The ones that were dancing like clowns after the Griffin 3 FAIL were bench warmers who only play in garbage time.
