I don't think we'd get those guys, but it would be better to shoot for them and not get them than get some overpaid guy maxed out for 3-4 years in a deal or sign Dwight to the max. Plus, if things did turn out that way, we'll be able to build through the draft. Which is what really needs to happen one way or the other.

If it was up to me, there's no way I'd put a max contract deal on the table for Dwight. He's too mentally fragile and unreliable, not to mention his level of play.

They'll definitely have some tough decisions to make. Building through the draft might be a good option but what if Kobe decides to play past 2014? He won't want to play for a rebuilding team and I don't think the Lakers will just let him walk so they might be forced make another run even though they should be rebuilding. Kind of like the Celtics with Pierce/Garnett or the Flames with Iginla.

Really good game going on between the Thunder and Warriors right now.

Yeah, too many questions from me as well. I don't know about him mentally or physically to offer him the max. Of course that's not to say someone won't do it

Durant finally misses a FT

Curry missed so many open threes tonight but he came up big at then end with the steal. Good win for the Warriors to beat out OKC. Durant is just an offensive beast.

Big win for the Warriors tonight. Only a game back of the Grizzlies for 4th place now. They're for real.

Curry and Lopez not even on the all star team. What a ****ing joke. Just abolish fan voting.

I love that TNT didn't even bother to spend one minute talking about the first half of Phoenix-LA and it was still entertaining.

It was the coaches who didn't vote Curry and Lopez in. Garnett and Howard were the dumb fan votes.

Curry definitely deserved to be there. IMO, he was the biggest snub.

All of the guards selected to the Western team deserved to go also. Bad luck for Curry, wouldn't have had a problem if he was picked, but can't say I'd put him in over any of the other guards selected, maybe Parker. There's only so many spots to go around, someone has to miss out, sucks for Curry that it was him.

and yeah lol at raging about the fan voting because of Curry and Lopez not being selected. The starting guards aka the ones that the fans actually voted for, were Paul and Kobe. There's no debate that they should be the back court for the West team.

Yeah, I would've liked to see Curry there myself, but who do you take out? Not like any of the reserves were bad and they weren't selected by fans either.

That said, I'm guessing if someone gets injured he'll have a good look.

I am both happy and shocked that they actually put Holiday on the team. Well deserved.

Steph Curry not making it is a joke though.

So who out of Harden, Westbrook, Parker do you think should be dropped?

None of the above. I'd cut Howard, let Duncan start then just bring 4 guards. I'd maybe swap Z-Bo for Marc Gasol as well and in the west drop Bosh for Lopez.

I'm sorry but Tyson Chandler should not be an all star this season.

I think they should just have 15-man rosters. Or just get rid of East vs. West so there's no limit for a conference that deserves more all stars.

That would be dandy if you could cut the guys that are voted in by the fans but you can't. That opens up a whole new issue.

I wouldn't mind if they picked teams via the captains choosing pick by pick like the NHL did, not sure if that would work too well with some of the egos in the NBA though.
