Bulls with an impressive bully beat down of the Hawks and used only 8 players.

And Derrick Rose is one more day closer to playing.

Kyrie Irving is going to be a superstar

Tristan Thompson has really picked it up as well

Bright future for the Cavs

^that was scary when he went down. Hopefully he gets past these injuries now rather than later. I wouldn't mind him just taking it easy from here on out including skipping the ASG

...Speaking of ASG, East coach decided tomorrow in the Raptors~Heat game.

Also, I didn't see the play but apparently Michael Kidd-Gilchrist left on a stretcher. Hope the kid is OK.

that injury to Duncan looked awful

No matter how bad the injury is, I think he'll retire at the end of the year

"bobcats.com
February 2, 2013

Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was taken to Houston's Memorial Hermann Hospital tonight after getting hit in the head during the team's game against the Rockets.

Kidd-Gilchrist, who was alert and had movement in all extremities before leaving the Toyota Center, underwent precautionary X-rays and a CT scan, all of which were negative for head and neck injuries. He does have a concussion and will remain hospitalized overnight for observation.

The injury occurred at the 10:42 mark of the fourth quarter when Kidd-Gilchrist collided with teammate Jeffery Taylor."

The Knicks under Woodson are now 48-21. Really amazing when you consider the meltdown under Dantoni right before he resigned.

They have the 5th best record in the NBA. Forty five games into the season.

^You think they'll trade some pieces off? Rumours of KG are starting up.

And with the Heat win, it's Pop v Spoelstra in the ASG. I'm hoping Pop pulls the starters 10 seconds into the game...

Also, Duncan is day to day, no structural damage

Just heard on Sportscenter that the Clippers are interested in trading for KG. He does have a no trade clause.

I wouldn't be surprised to see either KG or Pierce traded. If KG goes to the Clips, I would hope the Celtics get Bledsoe, but I'm not sure if LA would give him up..

Regardless, I think Pierce should be traded either way, he's scoring well and the C's should trade him while he's playing well

Cousins said he told the ref not to act like a "bleeping female" to get his second tech.

Yeah, that'll get you ejected all right. At least he was honest about what he said.

If he ever learns to just let things go...

Thomas' reaction says a lot. If only he and Smart had gotten there a few seconds sooner to get him away.

How frustrating it must be being a part of the Kings brass and enduring this clowns nonsense. I just imagine the conversations being something along the lines of...

"DeMarcus if you just shut up for one once in your life you could be one of the most dominant forces in the league"

"**** you man"

If only they could get someone in to play with him who he would respect and maybe even look up to but nobody like that would want to go there, if such a person even exists.

You could bring in a vet, a baby sitter, someone who will tell him how to get over it, but the first rule of changing will always be acceptance.

He's 22. He still thinks he knows everything. Chuck Hayes is there, Keith Smart, Bobby jackson and Shereef Abdul-Rahim are there on the coaching staff. He is surrounded by the right people, he just needs to realize it himself.

I also didn't like the fact that the ref waited for Cousins to be walking away and for Smart to be right in front of him to call the T. Also, I don't know what Cousins said to the refs before getting upset, but the ref seemed agitated while responding to Cousins before Cousins got upset. Sometimes, the refs need to settle down and not make a situation worse.

Rockets just went 14/18 from downtown in the first half. Need 10 in the 2nd half to break the record. Not sure I've ever seen a shooting display quite like that before.

Seems like the Spurs did something close, but good lord nothing like 140 pts. Someone's fantasy team probably just exploded

Lakers won without Peace or Howard and now:

Pau Gasol felt a "pop" in the bottom of his foot, on crutches now. Getting an MRI on Wednesday.
