Bummer for the Clippers, but eventually all streaks come to an end. Good for the Nuggets though, always just chugging through.

Raptors have been scary good the past few weeks.

I hope they overtake Brooklyn/Boston soon.

The Raps are better committed to D, and players stepping up for the scoring each game. This team picking up its play when they lose Barg is more than a coincidence. With the hustle and defense that Davis and Johnson show, it's a shame that one of them would usually be neglected when Primo Pasta was out there.

Anybody can beat the Lakers

The Spurs? That was before Pop decided to go with the Duncan Splitter combo. You are not going to beat Griffin and DeAndre with ****ing Bonner and Blair

The Grizz? Ok I admit it was a good win

Well you said they struggled against good teams, I show you they didn't and then you come up with a bunch of excuses why those wins don't really count.

Plus this is a back2back for them against a good team. They weren't going to go on a 30 game win streak, can't draw too much conclusions from this loss.

Excuses ?

No those are facts

Other facts: horrible perimeter D and awful play calling from Vinny

Taken from the Grizz-Celtics recap on TSN:

Quote:
Celtics rookie Fab Melo was in Boston to see a doctor after receiving a concussion when he ran into a hotel door. He expects to be back in Maine on Friday.

Gotta be one of the funniest pro sports injury blurbs I've read in quite some time!

Also, Memphis is looking pretty solid this year. Always had a soft spot for them and if I was any more of an NBA fan, I guess they would be my "team".

In their game against the Blazers last night Toronto's two point guards Calderon and Lowry combined for 22 assists and 0 points on 0-3 shooting.

Vintage Calderon, no surprise there. But what's wrong with Lowry?

Calderon would be an amazing 6th man on the right team I think. I still don't think he's a starter, but he does what he does well.

In theory. In practice, he only plays well when he is a starter with his job being threatened.

Lowry just got back from his injury but I don't think there's anything wrong with him. Raptors were leading the entire time and DeRozan, Davis, Ross, and Johnson were hitting everything. Both Lowry and Calderon just kept getting them the ball and didn't have to score.

Speaking of DeRozan, I might have been wrong about his contract extension. He is playing great this season and has really improved his shot.

The way the team and Ed Davis have been playing since Bargnani has been out should be a clear sign to Colangelo, it's time to trade Bargnani and move on. He drafted Bargnani 1st overall so he might be hesitant to get rid of him but it needs to happen.

Especially considering what former Raptors coach Sam Mitchell had to say about management's thoughts on Bargnani yesterday.

Quote:
"I wasn't allowed to coach Andrea the same way I was allowed to coach Jose (Calderon)," Mitchell told Tim & Sid on Sportsnet 590 The Fan on Wednesday. "I was a hard ass on Jose; I was hard on him, but look at the type of player he turned out to be.
"I was not allowed to be that tough on Andrea because within the organization we felt he couldn't take it. And my whole thing was if he can't take it then we can't build around him. And no one thought Jose could take it, and Jose did."
Looks like he's always been Colangelo's guy.

TNT figured Spurs would rest their guys. They were 25% right, the 4th 25%
