Nice goal by Drouin though, 2nd point of the night.

Ummm.... erm.... no. Murphy was much better in pre-tourney play, assuming that's what you mean by "All tournament".

Besides the early parts of the first period, Murphy has been better than Rielly. What is the real reason you want to see Rielly?

Rielly's good, he'll get his minutes, but it seems like you'd rather see Rielly over a guy playing better.

The only positive decision by Spott is to have chosen Jonathan Drouin on the team.

too be honest both guys have been less than stellar thus far. Both are offensive defenseman that aren't showing much offensive or defense.

Either way you look at it, we need our goalie to bail us out. Just because we cough the puck up doesn't mean that it's acceptable for Subban to give up a goal on principle. He looks shaky out there and is all over the place. It's like he just drops into the butterfly and hopes the puck hits him.
He just did bail the team out on poor coverage off a faceoff.

The second goal..really? A breakaway which resulted in a nice shot by him.

The third I can see I guess but he is far from the only guy who deserves blame on that one.

Reilly isn't deserving any more ice time than he's getting.

I shake my head at anyone criticizing Scheifele or Subban. Whatever your agenda is, wait until they play poorly to start your campaign.

how has he played better? Reilly had 3 shifts in the second and he didnt have 1 turn over and made all the plays he had to. He didnt do anything amazing but he moved the puck well.

I think it's pretty evident certain people have certain agendas in this thread.

He's had more than that this period and has two.

Anyways, just because he isn't playing top pairing minutes doesn't mean he's bad, but he doesn't deserve to have more minutes than Murphy if we're going off this game.
