Roster

Who to watch?BARONS TO WATCH: Taylor Hall has been outstanding of late with 5 points (3-2-5) and 14 shots in his last 2 games including a hattrick against these same Stars and a 10 shot performance in his last game.

STARS TO WATCH: Antoine Roussel is likely a marked man after goading Taylor Hall into a fight by giving him the business after the whistle on the 21st. Roussel then followed up that display of bravery by refusing to drop the gloves with Dane Byers and later chirping known tough guy Taylor Fedun and then taking a shot at another known goon Anton Lander after the game had ended. If the score gets run up by either team it could get interesting.

Barons Number of the DayThe number of the day is 24 as in the number of consecutive games that Barons defenseman Justin Schultz has played without receiving a penalty.

Quotable"He has parts of [Scott] Niedermayer and one player he reminds me of is Drew Doughty," Oklahoma City coach Todd Nelson told NHL.com. "The NHL is a step higher, but I see him doing the same thing up there. Maybe not as explosive in his first year, but I see him contributing offensively. I see him playing a lot of minutes, just as he does here -- and he plays about 30 minutes a game, handles it well."-- Oklahoma City coach Todd Nelson talking about Justin Schultz in an interview with NHL.com

Hall's shots per game
November: 2.33
December: 4.5

I'll bet he's truly starting to feel good.

So much hockey lately its been awesome! Thank you for keeping up with all of the GDT's during all this.

Another 2 points against this team would be great for helping to get us up in the standings. Hoping for a solid game down the lineup. A good team effort like the last couple games and I will be happy with the outcome.

Okay. I'll take it.

EDIT: 2 goals. 9 seconds.

Dat Schultz has some catching up to do.

Gazdik and Lizon are squaring off. Lizon with a crazy right hook to begin things, but it settles down. Tie, leaning to Gazdik. I'm terrible at calling fights though, so who knows?

Hartski can giveth, hartski can draweth the penalties.

Yeah couple punches then a wrestling match, nothing eventful. Glad we have someone who can stand up to Gazdik and let the others play without worry though. Lizon looked bored in the fight actually haha
