Gaudreau, Miller and Grimaldi have been invisible so far, was expecting a lot more of them, still two periods though.

Galchenyuk in the other hand has been very impressive, Seth Jones too

solid start for the US, I hope for a big goal game here to help us with our goals scored/against differential..

I also want to see a bit more out of Gaudreau who really hasnt done much this entire time yet from camp to prelim,...this team needs him and Grimaldi to be dynamite to have a chance...

Trouba is a beast. nothing more needed to say than that.

Like I said in another thread, when this tournament will be over Seth Jones will come out as the clear cut #1 prospecr for the draft. I've never seen a defensmen so complete at 17 years old. His Pronger like hype is well deserved, his skatinf is already way better than Pronger at the sane age.

I don't like that Glachenyuk is playing left wing just because some other centers don't play well along the boards. Coaches are cutting angles for him, and like we saw on his killer wrister, he has to cheat to exploit his talent.

He's pretty much a lock for the first round in 2014, could be top 10.

Will be the best German player in a while

Put Grimaldi with Galchenyuk and watch the chances pile up.

Biggs trying to outdo Trouba there with a great hit.

Pretty good period for Team USA. Three goals and it easily could have been more. Outside of a couple shifts Germany didn't do anything offensively and Gibson hasn't really been tested outside of the good tip save on the PP. Penalties were mostly kept in check (although it's tough to read on that since Germany didn't have the puck all that much). I'm still worried about the 2nd line though. They have zero chemistry but it's the line that Housley is in love with.

Int'l standards are so random.

That was textbook boarding at the end of the period.

Biggs will fit in perfectly in Toronto with the way Burke is building that team.

I thought Jones was a little shaky. He kept on trying that cross-ice pass and it never worked.

Pretty good start, they just have to play this way for the next 40 minutes against the Germans. I would like to see more from the Gaudreau-Miller-Grimaldi line. They look a little bit flat not getting many offensive chances.

Ok, what's the US doing with their roster? I thought they had to register their roster by Christmas, but they're now only just finalising their D lineup?
