Our PBP guy just tweeted that according to who was present at the morning skate, the Monsters "look like they'll be a shell of their former self. Several key guys gone to Colorado."

Sgarbossa, Olver, Barrie and Elliott mostly. Bords too, but he isn't a key guy really.
They will definitely have a tough time.
If you're watching/listening to the game, mind commenting on how Beaupre does later? I'm really curious to learn how he adapts with our offensive defenders out and what will likely be an increased role with the team.

I'm going to try to make it to the game late tonight. Possibly last period and a half or so. I will be there for the whole game tomorrow and would be happy to let you know how Beaupre plays.

Sum up, Varlamov started in 15 games for Lokomotiv and won 11 of them – three wins in the shootouts. He saved 476 of 503 shots (27 goals allowed), what is 94.6 save percentage and 1.74 goals per game. He earned three shutouts, four PIM and played for 928 minutes. He was still the best KHL goalie in major stats even at the end of the lockout.
As you can see, Varlamov definitely was the best goalie in the KHL during his experience with the Lokomotiv and there is no need to add more. Maybe only one stat. From overall 16 games, he allowed more than two goals in one game only for three times – one three goals and two times four goals.
How'd he look after returning from knee injury? That's more important IMO.
