I think the Germans are a stronger team than the Slovaks tbh. The Slovaks do have a strong system but I want to see how they react to a team that should play more team based than the Russians did against them.

I can't see the Germans pushing Russia the way the Slovakians did. I think this will be a stiffer challenge than most here are anticipating.

How about constructively criticizing or praising the existing team. This is Team Canada. It's not Team "Corrado Canucks" Canada.

To some other posters here, this team also isn't Team "Rielly Toronto" Canada or anti-Rielly or pro-Hamilton or anti-Hamilton. It would be nice to judge and critique these players based on their merits to this team right now and not on their NHL affiliation or potential future projection.

Tip: Hit the pause button before turning your tv on. I always hit pause, then LIST (Rogers remote) before even turning the tv on. Or, even better, if you aren't taping too many things at once, put a sure fire non-sports channel on before turning the tv on. My choice - Channel 27. Womens Television
