Lundstrom doing his best Price impression. Sweden wins 3-2 OT, 1-0 on SO.

Sweden was lucky that it wasn't a team like the US, Russia or Canada at the other end of the ice. Tonight's effort would have been destroyed by a more skilled team.

The need to get this game behind them and focus on figuring out how they can play together for 60 minutes.

I hope Lindholm isn't injured because he wasn't skating well this game.

Faced some adversity, got the W. Good for us.

I doubt they would come out to a game this disinterested if they played against either of those teams. I mean they can't, right?

Haha, I'm all for fistpumping after the winning save. But every save was overdoing it. I hope he gets lit up next game so he can fist pump for the other team.

Lundström came in cold and shut them out. He can do whatever he wants.

The fistpumping was probably just to warm up a bit.

Style. Some have it. Some not.

At least we got a point out of this, might be useful, but 2 or 3 would have been nicer of course. A win was possible today.

I had a bad feeling when Bertschy started. I didn't think he had a good game. But since the other two failed miserably too, it didn't matter. I would have sent Richard, Bertaggia and Andrighetto.

This was a bad game. Really bad.

The good:
Wennberg, Arvidsson, Sandberg and I did like what I saw from Molin at times

The Bad:
Lassinatti - some rebounds dude?

The Ugly:
The first line... Forsberg was bad, Rakell was bad and Karlsson was REALLY bad.. I think they need to do some line swapping.
Our D... I have nothing to say really, they lack toughness, some of them really looked scared out there. It's going to be hard games against the top teams if they wont just stand in the way and atleast try to play the body.

Switzerland played a really good game and I wouldnt have objected the slightest if they won the game. Perhaps this is a wake up call for the reigning champions..

Russia is lucky it was Slovakia and not Canada, USA or Sweden.

I think, we should not overrate the group stage game. Props to Swiss btw. Good game for them.

So true.

And I still wonder when Wennberg will get the role he deserves on this team.

Easy win, too easy. But hey, Switzerland, there is always next year!

Nah it was close again, of course. The Swiss will be tough for both the Finns and the Czechs.
