This ought to be a good game. Looking forward to seeing the US stack up against a team that isn't tired from a back-to-back and completely out of their skill level.

He should know a thing or two about them since quite a few of the US players play in the OHL. Listen, I don't mind Zharkov, but I have a personal pet peeve with Hockey players mouthing off...and the media rushing to them, especially the Russian media, since Russian press is what I read the most... understand this one thing if you understand anything at all, Hockey players have nothing, absolutely nothing interesting to say.. they should speak less and play more! And that includes Yakupov.

Great moments are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here, today, boys. That's what you've earned here today. One game.

If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine.

But not this game.

Not tonight.

Tonight, we skate with them. Tonight, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can! Tonight, we are the greatest hockey team in the world.

You were born to be hockey players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here tonight. This is your time.

Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the Russians have. Screw 'em. This is your time.

Now go out there and take it.

But of course you ignore Zharkov praising Galchenyuk and the American goalie in the same interview.

Anyhow, its TSN (not the Russian media) who are the masters of taking quotes out of context and blowing them out of proportion.....particularly WJC time.

I'm scared to death of guys like Grimaldi and Gaudreau on big ice.

Should be a good game.
