Edm - fla

FLA: Hemsky - Musil - 1st

Edm: Gudbranson

is this close? I figured it would take a good player a good prospect and a high pick. Maybe switch in klefbom?

A Gudbranson - Shultz paring would be nasty in 5 years.

What would it take to get Gudbranaon?

Why do you exactly think Florida would do this??? They get absolutely nothing they need. All this does is set them back.

Duh, this is HF Boards. Here Florida isn't a hockey team, they are just a place holder for players until they make it to real teams.

This is just bad. I can certainly see Florida wanting no part of it, but I don't want any part of it either. Especially if Klefa is involved

When you trade multiple lesser pieces for one of more value, you have to overpay. This isn't overpaying (and probably is underpaying).

FLA says no

The Panthers would have to get seriously overwhelmed by an offer to consider trading Gudbranson at this point. And that ain't close to overwhelming.

Could not think of any possible ways Florida does this. Me as an Oilers fan would do it

Florida already has a lot of quantity/depth, they need to keep their quality pieces like Gudbranson. If you want to do these kind of trades, stick on EA Sports NHL.

Like some other poster already said, it's like offering Upshall Petrovic and 1st for RNH

The Oilers gets hosed here, Gudbranson was lost last year, and with that off ice injury this year not too sure about him. Loved to have him, but not at that price. Hemsky, Peckham and a 2rd for Gudbranson and Logan Shaw would sound about right.

What is the price for one of Petrovic or Robak then? seeing how the Panthers value that -19 player very highly.

I know that people are high on Gudbranson but I think it is quite a bit for a rookie that is good but not a legit number 1.

Gudbranson is a tad overrated IMO. Quite an overpayment but I'd probably still do this as Oilers fan, simply because our D is horrible at the moment.

Rightfully so, just as the Oilers highly value their -12 player, Taylor Hall.

Yes Hemsky, Peckham and a second. That sounds about rite. Oh wait Florida should throw in a prospect to. I don't know why you didn't request Markstrom or Bjugstad because you are giving up that stallion Hemsky. : laugh::l augh:

Has to be one of the dumbest arguments ever. I mean, you do realize Hemsky was -13 last year right? Oh, and you're goldenboy RNH was also a minus player. Guess they are all crap then!!!

WeirdAI proposed that a few posts above. A couple Oilers fans in this thread are making me laugh. Using plus/minus? Saying OP is overpayment? Proposing Peckham, 2nd, Hemsky? "Oilers get hosed here" ????????? Stuff like "I know that people are high on Gudbranson but I think it is quite a bit for a rookie that is good but not a legit number 1. " Like the OP would even get you near a legit #1....what a joke.

I think you gotta give the Oiler fans credit though. He'd be a perfect compliment to their blueline to go with there other young stars. Gudbranson like the majority of all young blueliners probalbly will take 2-3 yrs before he starts to become comfortable. When that time arrives I believe he will be a stud. Not something you can acquire for a hemsky, peckham and a second. ( Pretty sure that a gm like Tallon and his eye for talent and his experience as a defenceman wouldn't give it a second look.)

The initial offer though is something he would have to consider.
